SMART STUDIO grew from the fact that two creatives are stronger than one.
Especially when Melissa and Eileen's complementary skills (graphic design +
writing) strike a fresh spark when mingled together. So, one afternoon over
lunch they decided to share that spark + their big biz experience to deliver
agency-level creative made easy for you. Since 2010, they've produced dynamic
results for varied clients and industries in the New York area—and have won a
few awards along the way.

MELISSA BROWN began her career with a passion for publications—designing
newspapers, magazines and books. Later she switched gears and learned the
ropes of marketing and branding at 2 powerhouse financial companies. With a
strong sense of publishing and marketing she launched Melissa Brown Design
often teaming up with select writers and artists to help develop smart content
for publishers, marketing teams and assorted clients of all shapes and sizes
—delivering work that looks smart + is smart.

EILEEN CHARLES, a writer with a quick turn of phrase and luxury brand
know-how, grew up in the beauty business and into a lead writer on numerous
brands. She's named, positioned and promoted product lines, spas, fitness
centers, skincare and makeup launches, arts and parks programs and green
business. She also brings to the table public relations and promotional savvy
—a broad combination of talents that get you noticed in the marketplace.
